only substantial flowers left are the Asters and the Pinkweeds -
I remember that one year the asters were still blooming into December.
Leaves
have begun to lose their chlorophyll and are showing their
underlying colors.

The Snapping
Turtle below looked dead to me until I approached it - About 1 foot
long and lethargic and prehistoric looking, it was worth a few photos.
